Artan Fuga

This article deals with Agron Tufa’s novel ‘Black Wednesday’ which takes shelter in the symbolism built on empirical and realistic material, and draws us beautifully, sweetly, inside a narrative where events, occurrences, realistic landscapes mix with visions of mythical practices, in a world where dramatic mystery mixes with sex, the winter life of a mountain village sinks in a mist of an unseen relationship with sorcery, the characters carry a weight of meaning and a psychological characterization, that places them in a moving dramatic tension.

Keywords: archetype, symbolism, sexuality, myth, delirium
