In this article the author perceives imagology as comparative investigation connected with the cognitive process in relation to the other. She addresses the image of the other, the foreign, as the starting point for inter-cultural communication, and poses the question: what images does Albanian literature offer the world today? What is cultural identity, as a collective expression of a community relative to its representation beyond its own borders?
What images do Albanian literature and Albanian writers disseminate in Italy? This article strives to answer these questions.
